What made you choose amiando?
The team was the reason. After I'd met some of the founders I was convinced that here, I'd work with people I could achieve something and be successful with. Even though it still wasn't clear at the start whether amiando would make it, a combination of enthusiasm, determination and clear goals on the part of the founders were definitely the determining factors for me for signing up to amiando.

What do you like about working for amiando?
I particularly like the working atmosphere at amiando, which you can only get in a start-up company. New things are just quickly tried out and if they're promising, they're immediately implemented. I also value the opportunity I have at amiando to continually develop personally and take on new tasks with responsibility.

What's special about your position?
When I look back I can say I've grown with amiando and my assigned duties. I haven't just been able to discover my strengths but to perfect them too, and consequently I'm not afraid of taking on new and more demanding duties. Having been initially responsible for customer support and its optimisation, which ended up being rather the support service of national and international event organizers, I now lead the internal sales team, the task of which is to acquire top-selling, key customers.

What's been the most unique experience you've been able to enjoy since joining amiando?
There are two: 1. Mark Zuckerberg coming to visit the amiando office 2. Oktoberfest 2007 with amiando und the amiando videos which have been censored in the meantime ;)

What made you choose amiando?
I first encountered amiando at a conference. Instantly I was fascinated by the company and the people behind. Since then amiando stands for drive, flexibility, innovation, know-how and gemeinschaft.

What's special about your position?
Personally I like best the open and pleasant working environment. One might only know that from large and successful companys in the silicon valley. New colleagues are well received and I immediately felt like being a part of the team.

What's special about your position?
As a product manager you are working closely together with every department. You get a constant feedback regarding the further development from the customers and your colleagues in the sales and support department to optimize the product in the best possible way depending on the customer's requirements. Each time it is an exciting challenge and highly motivating, when the presently planned was successfully implemented and you get positive feedback from the customers afterwards.

What's been the most unique experience you've been able to enjoy since joining amiando?
Our so-called "Lucky Lunch" and the bruises from our paintball event *ouch*

Position: Senior Software Engineer - Frontend

What made you choose amiando?
Amiando simply had the most challenging and exciting tasks!

What do you like about working for amiando?
That it never gets boring - there are always new, exciting projects.

What's special about your position?
I'm responsible for the product's usability - this is amiando's core competence and I'm proud to have been able to contribute to this. What really inspires me is that you don't have to wait weeks until you see the results of your work - with twice weekly software releases, it sometimes only takes a few hours until the code you've written is online.

What's been the most unique experience you've been able to enjoy since joining amiando?
A 24 hour working day (4.0 release) with a subsequent IT breakfast.
